History on Tap 2017

History on Tap, our fun pairing of beer sampling and historic buildings returns! Get HOT in our #CoolDowntown starting at the Shreveport Municipal Auditorium. Here you’ll need a legal I.D. to get your HOT passport and wristband so that you may sample the 17 exotic, unusual and fabulous brews custom-picked for us by Glazer’s Distributors. Start with a sampling here, then choose to take a tour of the historic Muni to learn when Elvis first left the building, a tour of the Oakland Cemetery- final resting place of saints and sinners, and tours of the gorgeous mansions- Logan and Ogilvie-Wiener. More beers will be available to sample at Mincine? (846 Texas Ave.), and food trucks will be parked near Aseana Garden. Our partnership with Glazers, SMG and Municipal Auditorium allows us to once again make this a FREE event for the first 500. All ages are welcome, but only those 21 and older will be able to partake of alcoholic beverages. All of the venues will be open to those under 21. Your trip will take you on a short walk, so wear comfy clothes and shoes and we’ll see you on the 13th!
