minicine? host Roger Warren Beebe, Professor of Film & Media Studies at the University of Florida , to screen a selection of his short experimental films. Beebe, working with 8mm, Super 8 and 16mm, is a keen observer of the “new” American landscape, capturing the beauty, irony, and post-modern quirkiness that overfloweth befrom it. A master of in-camera editing, this is DIY filmmaking “superb” where “Kodachrome is King”…. Mr. Beebe, from Gainesville Florida, will be present to screen and discuss his work.
